Job Overview
The Pre-Assessment team has an exciting opportunity for 2 senior staff nurses to join our team .
The role involves working within a dedicated team of nurses and HCA’s who are involved in assessing , planning and optimising patients who are waiting for surgery both locally and in the UK.
This is a very busy role and it is essential that the applicant can work independently and is confident with decision making .
We follow both local and national guidelines , attend Pre-Assessment conferences and keep abreast of up to date literature to ensure our patients are receiving high quality evidence based care .
The post holder should have both medical and surgical knowledge, a desire to learn new skills and have the ability to manage a busy work load and possess excellent time management skills .
