Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Mental Health nurse to join our team, within our Older Adult and Dementia Assessment unit. The position is Band 5 Charge Nurse, Registered Mental Health Nurse is essential.
The post will involve running the unit, staff supervision and appraisals, Clinical audits and governance.
The post holder will also do a number of shifts throughout the month as Duty Senior Nurse, this involves;
- Coordinating care and overseeing the process when a person is detained under Article 36 of the Mental Health Law.
- To provide clinical leadership, support multi-agency communication, and ensure the safety of all patients and staff across the wards at St Saviour’s Hospital.
- Keeping the DSN log updated for handover to the next DSN
- Bed management for admission
