Job Overview

 

Cedar Ward is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Mental health Nurse ( RNMH ) to join the team based in Clinique Pinel. This vacant position is for an additional Sister/Charge Nurse Band 5.

 

The post will involves running the ward, staff supervision and appraisals, Clinical audits and governance.

 

 

The post holder will also do a number of shifts throughout the month as Duty Senior Nurse, this involves;

 

Coordinating care and overseeing the process when a person is detained under Article 36 of the Mental Health Law.  
To provide clinical leadership, support multi-agency communication, and ensure the safety of all patients and staff across the wards at St Saviour's Hospital. 
Keeping the DSN log updated for handover to the next DSN 
Bed management for admission
