Job Overview

We are looking for a bright, bubbly, dynamic and motivated candidate who will be able to coordinate and provide activities both group and person-centred for the patients in our ward.

The ideal candidate will plan and implement the kinds of activities that will delight our patients on an individual and group basis. Whether you’re giving our patients the confidence to socialise more effectively, working on a new activity idea based on their hobbies, or getting the rest of the ward team involved - you’ll do so with a sense of kindness above all else.

You will be able to engage with other members of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT). You will be creative and flexible and willing to assist in other areas of the ward when required.

We are looking for someone with a background working with vulnerable Adults, ideally developing activity programmes. Beyond that, it’s all about your brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. You’ll have great planning, organisational and IT skills and be able to manage your time effectively. And, whenever you communicate with a patient or co-worker, you’ll be truly considerate and kind.

For an informal discussion please contact Ward Manager Ninna Grey-Treco on N.Grey-Treco@health.gov.je
