Job Overview

We are looking for holders of the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification to join our team of Lifeguards at our I&E sport division Wet facilities on a casual Zero hour contract. 

The position is to provide cover for staff absence and when permanent staff are delivering fitness instruction and swimming lessons. 

Statutory Responsibilities

To provide safe supervision lifeguarding public swimming and deliver good customer service whilst maintaining good housekeeping skills 

Job Specific Outcomes

To supervise the swimming pools within the wet facilities. 

Be proactive to perform rescues and raise the alarm if required in the event of an emergency 

To attend monthly lifeguard training in order to reach the standards required by the Royal Lifesaving Society to holders of the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.  

To carry out daily water testing on the swimming pools ( training will be provided) 

Qualifications

All applicants to hold the RLSS National Pool lifeguarding qualification. 

Enhanced DBS Certification
