Job Overview

The States of Jersey Police are recruiting for the role of Detective Superintendent – Head of Crime.

 

 

The Detective Superintendent is a pivotal strategic leadership role within the States of Jersey Police, responsible for the oversight and delivery of all crime services. This includes the investigation of crime, proactive policing, safeguarding and public protection, financial crime and forensic services. The post holder will also act as Strategic Firearms Commander and Gold on-call (every 5 weeks with a requirement to remain on island), ensuring operational resilience and public safety at the highest level.

 

 

This role demands a dynamic, experienced leader with a proven track record in complex investigations, strategic command, and multi agency collaboration.
