Job Overview

We are looking for a flexible and hard-working Team Leader/Senior Learning Assistant to join our team on a Fixed Term contract for the remainder of the Academic Year (August 31, 2026).

 

This role will be supporting pupils with a range of differing additional needs and will based within our main school as well as within our Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP).  Our ARP supports pupils with needs primarily focused around Autism and Social and Communication challenges.  The right candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with teachers and provide specialised advice and / or support as part of a professional team to those pupils who need particular help in overcoming barriers to learning. 

 

The successful candidate will be required to manage planned intervention groups with pupils and add value by supporting adaptive teaching and learning opportunities planned and directed by the teacher which supports the development of independent learning skills associated with improved learning outcomes. 

 

Experience of working with or caring for or working with children and / or young people for a minimum of 2 – 3 years would be beneficial.
