Job Overview
- Alongside our Lead Key Worker, support the delivery of Short Breaks sessions throughout the school holidays, providing fun, safe and worthwhile activities and outing for young people with complex needs.
- Helping to plan and organise activities and sessions for young people, taking into consideration the different needs and abilities of our young people and ensuring the voices of the young people are heard.
- Assist the team with any personal care or support needs for young people.
- To provide the lead key worker and staff with appropriate support in the planning, implementation and monitoring of activities
- Implement 1:1 and whole group sessions for young people including children with special educational needs, planning and delivering and evaluating interventions.
- To support the physical welfare of the young people
- To encourage children to treat each other with respect and to follow the project's behaviour policy at all times.
