We are looking for a Test Manager (Digital Health)  who is responsible for defining, implementing, and leading the digital health testing strategy across Health and Care Jersey (HCJ). The post holder will ensure that all new and upgraded digital solutions are robust, safe, and fit for purpose through rigorous functional and non-functional testing.

What You'll Do

  •  Lead the design and execution of testing strategies (functional and non-functional) for all digital health solutions.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, and coordination of test phases across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ensure testing frameworks comply with clinical safety standards (DCB0129/0160), data protection, and Government of Jersey digital policies.
  • Manage test analysts, coaching and mentoring to ensure capability and professional development.
  • Work with Product Leads, Project Managers, and Solution Architects to align testing with delivery milestones and business requirements.
  • Develop automated testing where feasible, improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Working to Agile best practices and adopting DEVOPs practice, TDD etc.
  • Identify, document, and escalate defects and risks, prioritising resolution in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Provide regular test progress reports and assurance to the Head of Technology (Digital Health), Digital Health Head of Delivery & PMO, and Digital Governance Boards.
  • Support supplier negotiations and contract performance monitoring relating to quality assurance and testing.
  • Promote continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methods across HCJ Digital Health.
