Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our Travel & Overseas Treatment Team.
As the first point of contact for patients who need to travel off island for treatment unavailable in Jersey, the post holder will provide support to patients and their relatives. This includes arranging travel and accommodation in line with policy and accurately processing all associated travel and finance documentation.
The post holder will require strong IT skills and a good understanding of confidentiality to coordinate and manage travel arrangements efficiently, particularly in complex or urgent cases. Clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals is vital to ensure safe and coordinated patient journeys. The post holder also requires excellent telephone etiquette and adherence to all internal hospital policies and procedures.
