Job Overview
This role is responsible for delivering high-quality vocational training that equips prisoners with the practical skills, work habits, and recognised qualifications required to secure sustainable employment on release. By supporting the development of employability skills, the post holder will contribute to prisoner rehabilitation and help reduce reoffending.
The successful candidate will deliver training across a range of vocational subjects and may also be required to teach in other areas that are aligned with their skills, experience, and qualifications.
Where the post holder does not currently possess the required teaching or vocational qualification, they must demonstrate the ability, aptitude, and commitment to achieve the qualification within an agreed timeframe.
