Our wellbeing support

Wellbeing and support options

We care about our people and their wellbeing, so fostering a supportive environment where everyone can perform at their best is important to us. We provide our employees with access to health and wellbeing support so they can thrive both personally and professionally.

Our commitment to sustainability

As an organisation we’re taking active steps to reduce our carbon emissions in line with the Island’s commitments under the Carbon Neutral Roadmap.

We’re moving forward with initial measures to deliver immediate carbon reductions, while also investing in long-term solutions to achieve the transition to net-zero by 2050.

The Jersey Public Service is committed to reducing our carbon impact and investing in the environmental wellbeing of both current and future generations of Islanders.

In 2022 our Decarbonisation Programme was established, initially focusing on:

  • Reducing our vehicles carbon emissions
  • Updating our buildings and exploring lower carbon fuel alternatives
  • Improving our employees' Carbon Literacy
