Make a real difference for children and young people in Jersey
Across Children, Young People, Education and Skills (CYPES), we are dedicated to empowering the next generation and shaping brighter futures for all. Key to everything we do is a simple but powerful purpose - to make Jersey the best place for children and young people to grow up and thrive.
Every day, we work to positively impact the lives of children, young people, their families, and carers. We believe every child should have the opportunity to reach their full potential, and we’re committed to making that belief a reality.
If you’re looking for a rewarding career with purpose, where your work directly shapes the lives of children and young people in Jersey, join our team and be part of something truly special.
Changing lives together
Our work is as diverse as the children and families we support. From protecting vulnerable children, promoting fostering and adoption programmes, and supporting those in care, to providing an effective education, practical skills development opportunities, and enriching youth services, we are passionate about creating safe, nurturing environments where children and young people can flourish.
We also provide essential support through services such as the Children and Families Hub, and the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), ensuring children and families have the care they need to thrive. All our teams make a meaningful impact in Jersey every single day.
Children and Families services
Every child, young person and family deserve a safe, nurturing and loving environment to grow and thrive. The strength of the service is due to the people who deliver support and make a daily impact on the lives of Islanders. We’re taking bold steps to redesign the way we support children and young people.
