Job Overview

We have a vacancy for the role of the Business Support Consultant in the People Services Department. The Business Support Consultant is responsible for managing a team that provides administrative and operational support to ensure smooth business processes. This role is pivotal in maintaining efficiency, improving workflows, and delivering high-quality support services to People Services.

 

As Business Support Consultant you will be at the heart of our operations. You’ll have the autonomy to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and implement innovative solutions while inspiring the team to thrive.

 

The role has oversight of all the administration workstreams across the People Services department and will be working on a frequent basis with leaders and managers, department colleagues and other teams in and across the Public Service and People Services.

 

The Business Support Consultant will oversee and coordinate multiple requests including Freedom of Information Requests (FOI’s), Subject Access Request’s (SAR’s) and all other departmental and People Services SLT requests, to the required timescales. The role will support in ensuring the People Services SLT and the wider department feel supported and are able to achieve their aims.
