Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our urology team based at Enid Quenault Health and wellbeing centre (St Brelade) as a Senior Healthcare Assistant.
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Senior Health care assistant. The role involves assisting the urology nurses and consultant to carry out investigations and procedures within the outpatient setting. The successful candidate will be trained to carry out independent basic tests on urology patients within their own outpatient clinics under the supervision of the urology nurses.
The applicant ideally should have possession of a level 3 RQF and a minimum of two years’ experience at a grade 1 health care assistant. A developmental post from a grade 1 to a grade 2 will be considered if already enrolled onto RQF Level 3.

Job Purpose
To promote the wellbeing health and independence by supporting patients/clients with activities of daily living in order to meet planned care goals. Staff at this level will work under the general guidance and direction of trained staff and will have immediate access to advice and guidance.

Qualifications
- In possession of Level 3 vocational award in health and social care
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience at Grade 1 pos

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience at Grade 1 post

Experience
